Ranger Bill - Old Time Radio

Ranger Bill

A product of the Moody Bible Institute, a Christian organization, Ranger Bill first aired in 1951 in 15-minute episodes, which then expanded to 30 minutes in syndication. Ranger Bill enjoyed its original 10-year run between 1954 and 1964.

Ranger Bill takes place in the fictitious town of Knotty Pine, and follows the engaging adventures of the forest ranger and his friends. Ranger Bill, the "Warrior of the Woodlands," offers practical advice within the context of a positively religious message in each story, designed to both educate on practical matters and to impart Christian ideals.
